Our restoration process included progressive diamond honing and polishing. This helped improve the surface, restore clarity, and create a smooth, consistent finish.

Instead of using a topical coating to create shine, we mechanically polished the quartzite. The shine now comes directly from the natural stone. This process brought back the quartzite’s original color, movement, and character.

We also carefully protected the surrounding kitchen before starting the work. Plastic sheeting, protective tape, and drop cloths helped protect the cabinets, floors, and nearby surfaces.

The finished quartzite island now has a clean and even appearance. It also has excellent clarity and a beautiful natural polish.
